Well its been a long hard slog.














Ive had problems after problems at the 11th hour as far as getting it ready for the MOT, But here she is. Ready as she will ever be.













Last worry is, will it pass the MOT. Ive got the man to do a pre-check, do anything that needs doing, then MOT it. Its in on Thursday.

Well it made L2B lol .

Been running it around daily again now, but after a bit or a spanking to get my Dad's car out of a muddle, the engine decided it has had enough . So, as 90% of the engine was ready anyway, ive just been out and got the last few little odds n sods to get the swap done in the weekend. Went into town with £100, and bought a jerry can, filled it with v-power, 2 gallons of cheapo oil, 1 gallon of duckhams, fan belt, another oil filter, some exhaust cement and some blue gasket.

Got home around 5:30 after the shopping and done this to my poor little car:

And i diagnosed why it has been feeling a bit sluggish lately:





PLAN:

Get new, straight subby on the car, with drivetrain gear by 10:30

Get engine timed in, and ready to go in for about 1:30

Start bedding in the followers and camshaft by about 5

Then take it for a nice running in type drive on sunday.

Though i will add - its an absolute MISSION trying to lift the car over the complete front subby / engine on your own!

Haha - and yes - that is my Dads NEW CAR parked about a foot away from the mini, so made working on that side pretty hard
