£200 seems very unlikely, is it a typo, did you mean £2000?

MS used to sell the kit you link to http://www.minispare....aspx?pid=37389 certinally not £200!!

They didn't give you a price for one of those electric, so called superchargers, did they ?

the eaton is a twin screw tho...the other types are root which are horibly inefficient and centrifugal/turbo style superchargers which cost over £1k

Hi mini mania do a kit, i run this set up and bought the one of fleabay as a spare much neater install than the eaton and you don't get the problems fueling etc as with the eaton charger. The only problem with the opcon type is price about £2500 for the kit.

the eaton isnt a screw type, it is a roots type but has a slight twist to the lobes to help reduce pulsing.

fair enough then, roots type chargers are described as air displacers rather than compressers and are genraly less efficient that other types, i believe

I'm running a Toyota Sc12 using a kit from AUS very very cheap. looks very old school.

A pic mid build. Should be at Himley on the Miniaddicts club stand.
