i would try mini clinic northants

If they're the one's I'm thinking of, they're even worse! Bob (minihospital) is the one most people seem to like in Northants, just saying that from what I've seen, his work isnt worth the hype. And the fact he took months to do a simple respray on a friends car...

Most people would see waiting as a good thing as it means there have a good reputation.

to be fair after 5 years things change people get better and some get worse. i think that its always interesting and useful to see who people recommend (or otherwise lol) also iv just moved up here and would like to know

i used to live in Rushden YEARS ago and take my minis to The Mini Centre in Wellingborough (also were called metro-mini for a while i think), they were good value, but i only ever needed servicing etc i don't know if they do restoration work or if indeed they're still even there! I think when i moved 2004/5 he was shifting over more to VW's. But I also went to Mini Bitz - they slagged off the mini centre and i needed something doing quick on one of the cars I think it may have been a broken clip on a side repeater and he fixed it in place with.... masking tape! needless to say i drove away swiftly!
