Yer, sucks..... 4.60 an hour :shifty:
Workin sat 10 hrs sun 7hrs monday 8hrs tuesday 8hrs thursday off then starts again..should never offered to do extra hours (work weekends normly when uni)

New wheels are on and looking rather sexy, also much wider than the previous wheels (old ones were 135 these are 195 so braking much better)

thanks, think goin to wait for next sunny day, clear up the rear drums and give them some hammerite in black tidy things up a lil. Also thikning of lowerin front bit. Dropped spindles was 1st idea but i had new spindles for discs on front so dont wana go get another set already. Someone on vw forum mentioned idea of adjusters to weld to the beam?what you think bungle

adjusters are the unusual way unless you want to go really low

if you fit drop spindles the track get wider so you really need a narrowed beam

Not done much recently, going shopping tommorow for new running boards some new seals for petrol tank, window winder passanger side and prob some random bits that take my fancy.

Bad news :thumbsup: the downpoor yesterday got into the bonnet and my stero is now wet and destroyed >_<


Anyways...why i love dubs-

DO as you please with them almost always look good, ratty and tatty, show quality,daily,stock all sweet..

mirrors are a *horrid woman* to fit, esp when its never had a left hand mirror before and required drilling the door and getting washer on.

Its on now anyways, and i keep seeing pictures of bugs that make me wana convert mine to the pre 69 archs as they look mch cooler. Oh and respray same colour but a proper finish-

My plan is slam it (still not done it)
Old blade bumpers and towel racks like one in pic above.
Then tidy interiour up a bit with new carpets and door cards

i wisih, thats just simular to what i plan to do mine like. Same colour and about same ride height as mine shall be.

Not been on here in along time, should of said the bug has now gone! Sold it back in December, driving a mk3 golf now
