Its not the speed rating that worries me, its the load rating. A quad bike weighs far less than a mini does.

I agree with Guess Works, any one considering putting these on a car for the road wants their head looking at >_<

think about the sideloading aswell going on a fast corner doubt a ATV could put that much strain compaired to a min min...even a ultra light one

Putting the above aside, the widest road legal tyre designed for a carrrrrrrr is the 165/70, of which the best are either the Falken or Yokohama.

Cheapest places to buy... 'Sport can be pretty cheap with tyres, 'Spares have good prices, or Black Circles.

you have had 2 mini doc's and a member of admin tell you not to fit bike/golf buggy tyres onto your mini and that the widest tyre for a road mini is a 165 tyre take the hint

Just because they're for sale, doesn't mean they're safe. I dont' know anything about these, but given that Mini Mania admit that the tyres are for trailers, not cars, I'd want to know alot more about them before I put them on my car. That said, they do look very nice.

The tires aren't designed to have high pressure, thats they they are always kind of soft on quads and the like.
You'll either pop them trying to get them to the pressure needed for a road car or you'll be driving around with them looking half flat due to the weight of the car.

Stretch is the future

it is a small road tyre.not a golf cart tyre.thats why the speed rating is so high. they are for trailers. and trailers carry heavy things.

im going to shut up now before i get called more names. even tho its not a golf cart tyre.

I didn't realize it was a trailer tire to be honest..
But i still wouldn't use it on a road car, if it was suitable for a car it would say so. Therefore it probably isn't suitable for a car, it may well work but i just wouldn't want to take the risk. Could cause all sorts of nasty accidents.. its the only thing holding you and the car to the road.
