I just downloaded photoscape is there a way to make the background black and white and leave something colour?For basic quick editing I use Photoscape.... it's all drop down menus and stuff like that.

Can you make certain parts black and white? Such as a mini in colour and the background in B/W?I have used a few other programs. Tried GIMP but I just dont find any of them as effective or user friendly as photoshop CS5

Unfortunately you can't use photoscape for Colour Popping as far as I'm aware.

Just use a torrent and get photoshop It will do what you want it to.
