According to the instructions
its 1000ml+500ml+100ml
I'm quite happy with the way its going.
Can I leave the basecoat to dry overnight or is it best to do it all in one hit?
Is it possible to put the clear on whilst the base is still "sticky wet"

Its taken me about 4 hours so far but I am very happy with the results!!

I will give a coat of clear tommorrow and will post the results!!
So far so good

I reckon its working well for you cause your doing it with the garage door up.
Got plenty of air flow to dry it!
Ah so you noticed!!!
It was raining a bit outside so I didn't think there would be any harm!!
Anyway
Round 2
Left it overnight and it looked like this

It still looked good!!
No runs and by the finish I had used 3/4 of ltr paint
The matt dark finish showed up every imperfection!! DOH
I applied the clear coat mixed 2-1 with 10% thinners
And it looked like this

If you make out the finish through the fumes it looks ok!!
It Really shows the lack of fumes using the water based base coat compared to the 2 pack clear
I'm going to give it 30 mins to flash off and give it another coat
Thanks for all your support

someone posted that the gti is no good for waterbased that it needs to be a gti-w i dug out my paperwork for my gti and it stated that it is compliant for waterbased and solvent sae goes for my sri. So your gun should be fine.

I thought the 'W' was for water!
Anyway, finish looks great, should look spot on with abit of a polish!
Well done!

The clear looks a bit orange peely out of the gun but dries out quite nicely!!
Overall I'm over the moon with it.
How many coats of clear would you recommend?
Thanks

I normally go for 3 good coats so i have something to flat back with no worries if its a good finish sometimes leave it at two
