How do you get these discounts? For example if I get insurance with Flux how do they know I get a discount? If i buy from minispares how do they know i get a discount?

Various different methods, its all explained in the TMF+ section when you sign up.

They will note down that you are a memeber of a Mini owners club, they will also tell you exactly how much you have saved with the discount. My quote was reduced by about £150 with the discount.

Ok thanks, I am not old enough to drive yet so will not be getting insurance yet but soon however I will buying and restoring a mini so I will become a TMF+ member to receive discount when buying things!

Err hi, sorry to drag this up... but I want to become a TMF+ member, just wondering how you let places like mini spares know that you ARE a member and thus entitled to discount? Also, I already get 5%, do I get more off at Mini spares with TMF+? I read 7.5%, is that right?

When you join TMF+ you get access to a new section that details exactly how you get each discount, as it varies with each company.

And yes, with TMF+ you get 7.5% discount with Minispares.
