a couple of little changes since the last piccy....;0)
 

Definitely better with the chrome dashpot covers mate :-)

Mine - although not fully finished...


These carbs look great are they painted?? If so does anyone know what type of paint? (High-tempurature, etc)

 

 

They,re anodised dash pot covers, you can buy them and just pop them over the top

Just starting to paint my engine will put more photos up when its all nice and shiny painted going for red and gold look. Ps does anyone recommend any ways to clean and shine up the cast iron parts like clutch housing and cover and gearbox?

What alternator is that?

 

 

thats a Toyota Unser alternator.. bout 70 amps and fits brilliantly.. no modification required just some spacers.. and it cost me bout 30-32 pounds brand new.. way cheaper than shipping an original 70amps lucas to Malaysia
