i would say weekday mornings at 8-8.30 but that was for school and ive only got 2 days left so i have no idea what ill be doing with my time after that.

sunday morning at 9.40ish to give me a lift when i go to work?

Well i have finished her!!
(ish)
Its now up to an MOT'able status, i had to take her through the village to "Test" her!!! Had some looks, things i did note though:
- Mixture, VERY RICH! exhaust sooty after only a little drive, aswell as mini backfire once.

- Clutch, Slipping at hills even small inclines

- Flat at high RPM, couldnt get her higher than 30Mph.
Probs mixture of the 2 above causing that

- Whinning from gearbox, or is it that minis do just have a REALLY REALLY high pitch whine!

Well i am very happy and it feels amazing.

MOT tomorrow will let you know how it went.

NO PHOTOS, my camera Broke, the screen has naffed, still takes pics though so i might try a fw tomorrow "Blind"

Good luck Liirge with mot and those are just teething prob's just reset timming and mixture, as for g/box whine all deponds on if its a old remote type or magic wand type A gears or early B gears they did tend to whine due to how teeth were cut...........once again Superb job I hope mines as good................

yer it really does wine at revs, and gear change!

all the best of luck mate. have you got a CO tester? should get the carb sorted enough for the MOT at least. im sure that would more or less sort out points 1 and 3 (touchwood, is a mini after all )

Hahah!!!! CO2 on a 66 Classic not a chance, just visible smoke after warm up!!
Yer Carb Tune is needed, i think i might have to tighten the Stop in so the arm returns more, and puts more pressure on the clutch plate!

I know what you mean about how good they feel to drive, I've got a 998 in a home built special that's like a shorty moke/scamp. great acceleration, but very very twitchy. I love it, lol.

Ive got a bad feeling, the MOT tester was not happy about certain things within 2 minutes of seeing her!
Also the back electrics started playig up just before and the carburttor was out of control just revving all over the place!
Fixed the lecy, and told the Tester to do the carb.
I did take some pictures! needs a Clean a few other little jobs done, but i still wreckon pretty good.
