The engine, has had its first coat of paint, as obviously seen in the photographs, a certain amount of work still needs to be done, and i dont recommend my artistic skills to anyone.
The pictures of the body show just a fraction of the work that has been done, and i hope to have that back at the end of the week.
But will it make its MOT on th 8th of May!!!!!

Thanks alot mate, yer she's coming along slowly!!looks awesome, I love mokes. Best of luck. Good choice on engine colour. any ideas on the bodycolour?
Its going to go back to Spruc Green, so a more bluey green than the engine, as this was the original Manufacture colour!
are there alot of mokes in canada?

I wonder where the A+ crank pulley cane from? Did the cam pulley get new tensioners, the chain looks a little slack?

Yer im hoping the built subframe jobbys, will be fine *bites finger nails*
Theres an A+ part on her?? did'nt know that at all.
as for the pully, Mr. Torode, whos been doing this for a looooong time, Took the chain cover off to look at the chain and replace that oil seal, and he sad it was fine.
You wreckon its a bit dodgy?

I have added most of the things to the front subframe, ready for the body to drop over. Also looks like i have put the clutch arm round the wrong way, anyone confirm? if so...uber embarrased!
Had a few problems with the radiator, hope to get that on and the exhaust manifold by the end of monday!

Just spotted something else that might be worthwhile - renew the bolts in to the block on the engine stabiliser, they are prone to snapping and are a major pain in the bum if they do. Later Minis had a thicker bolt through the bushes because of this.

Hmm, i had a polava with the radiator, the captive nut inside the Rad, Broke, and just kpt spinning, so i had to go and get that sorted

No, there's very few over here. not alot of minis even (proper ones that is)
