Goo day. I heard about The mini forum website from a friend of mine. He restores Mini's in South Africa. I've restored two.

Hi I found the site online from the web site . I are new minis and brought one after a good friend of mine brought four of them, he is doing them up for his grand daughters. He served his time as a motor mechanic  on minis and he has modified them all up to 1275 cooper spec.  The car I  brought is a 2000 New Zealand  MPI Sportspack  one of 5 brought into New Zealand new, The car had just been driven every day and has 45,000Kms on the speedo i presume that this is probably 145,000. I have refurbished the car apart from the motor. Prior to the mini my previous experience has been with classic Jags which I still have.

Hi, I have been trying to join this forum for ages, eventually found a post that said change your email (I had an outlook email address and they don't seem to work on here). So, I am based near Macclesfield in the UK. I have owned minis since the late 1970's and currently have a 95 Cooper SPI (usually a runner) and a 1979 20th anniversary edition as a shell in need of total re-build. I have found this forum to be really informative and a friendly place where you can ask any question, no matter how basic, without getting your head chewed off. Thank you for allowing me to join.

Hi there!
I’m living in Dorset, West of England.
I have had my first and only Mini Cooper since August 2018. It’s registered April 1991 and is very original, retaining its HIF44 carb, standard alloy wheels and clean interior. Flame red with white roof.
I’m looking forward to seeing how it goes following a suspension upgrade this month at my son’s garage/ workshop.
