From Perth, WA, Australia.

Was actually looking for tips on wiring up front spot lights and came across a really descriptive and clearly explained post from nev_payne about wiring through a relay.

Been hooked ever since!

Just found you while browsing with a Mini problem. I've had 27 Mini's over the last 40 years and when I sold my 35 Cooper 2 years ago I said never again as I had rebuilt everything on it ,I sold or gave away all my spares and books and tools but I found that giving up smoking was easier than giving up mini's .So I've just bought number 28!

Hi

Found you whilst browsing to find guidance on how to remove and weld sills and front mounting points for rear subframe.

Bought a '98 Mini Cooper to fulfil my daughter's dream - it lasted 11 mionths before failing its MOT (I'll never forgive the last MOT tester - he must have known!). Decided to fix it at leisure - it's now been a year and I have it stripped and learnt to MIG weld. I am now Mini hooked (even though its going to be a long haul).

I'm from Birmingham and found the forum by following links from the mk1-forum, as I have '63 Mk1, or most of it anyway. TMF is great from what I've seen so far!

My Brother, ipod, put me this way, on trying to sort out the other halfs MPI sportspack. It's over 98k miles now.

Looks a very good place for info and banter.

Hi to all you mini owners.

I do the dirty work, while she gets to enjoy driving it. As it seems to need constant fettling (the car, that is)

Andy
