because we have members all over the place, tell us where you are from and how did you hear of this mini forum.

and what you drive and anything else you feel fit...

My name is Ron & I'm from Nova Scotia, Canada.
My ride is a 1988 Mini Cooper S (restoration almost completed before I bought it).
I just happened upon this forum via Google.
Hopefully I can gain some more knowledge about these awesome cars !!

Hi from mark - manchester - following a spell of being unable to drive and getting considerably older in the process i have now rectified the driving ability recently and with that done i decided to look for two new things , the first being this, a good forum for mini lovers and well you might have guessed - an actual mini - since way before redoing my driving licence iv been trawling the internet for a good project car or an actual runner - with limited funds this is proving a challenge to say the least but undetered im looking still and will continue -my first choice is a 1984 anniversary mini ( the silver one - well it might match the colour of my hair by the time i get hold of one ) Failing that im looking towards original as possible, and due to the rise in insurance cost the general rule is pre 1985 ,1 litre or less and it cant be a MAYFAIR OR CITY E - any inspirational ideas or recomendations would be gratefully recieved and i am prepared to do the repair work ( and the foot work )

HI
Don´t drive a Mini as it is, have a AHS with the 1275 engine and dont´t understand why it´s OK to put twin HS4 on a Mini but not on a AHS with exatly the same dinosaur A engine in the bay. Surely the engine don´t know which way it´s placed in the car, and I cannot understand why the HS4 will work fine in a Mini but are considdered a compleate waste in a Sprite?
By the way,I came across the website when searching for answers on the former subject. I have owned several Minis since 1973, and am a great fan of the cars, but this time I went for something quite different, the Healey has always been a wannahave car to me.
