I'm from northern Illinois in the States. Just purchased a 1976 Austin Mini 1000.
Needs no body work and interior good. We call it The Pumpkin because it it orange
and white.
I heard about you from Mimi-Spares looking for a heater, which I still need.
Our other classic car is a 1977 MGB. Both cars are now stored for the winter.

I happened to be searching around the web for pictures of what people had done with their dash boards. I had always found the dash to be a little far away, so I was searching around to find if people had done anything to correct this with custom dashes when I came across the dashboard thread on TMF. And now I'm here.

Hello all......I live in Cambridgeshire, England and just bought my first Classic Mini last weekend (96 Rover Mini), British racing green with low mileage, owner claimed it was garaged from new; it does appear to have some minor rust though.

Overall it is in good driveable condition, however...already found a water leak in the passenger side footwell, the bloke who sold it to me said the water had collected as a result of him scrubbing the carpets, however I suspect otherwise, as it's a wee bit too much water.....so will be searching for advice and/or fix, if the problem persists....cheers!

Hi,
I am Pete and found this site by browsing for various mini sites to get info on my car before I bought it.

I now own a Mini One D 1.6 registered in Jan 2011.
