because we have members all over the place, tell us where you are from and how did you hear of this mini forum.

and what you drive and anything else you feel fit...

Hi I am Rosslin Racing I sell Mini parts here in Switzerland.
I have been doing Minis for more that i care to think, in the blood so to speak.
I race a mini innocenti 1380, thats against the clock as "proper racing is "verboten" here.
I came across theminiforum over Google whilst looking for info.
looks good so far.

I'm Bobbi from Dorset and I googled for a 'mini forum' as I need to find out a bit more about the 998 engine in the auto trike I just bought.

Hi, I'm Roger and I found this sight purely by chance looking on the web for some info on changing the rubber cones to springs.

I've had a Mini 30 for three years now. But this is my second time around. I hate to say it but I remember the launch of this "funny" little car which of course took the world by storm and really changed the face of motoring, I bought my first mini in 1973. Unfortunately the love affair didn't last that long because the gruesome twosome (kids) arrived on the scene and if you have children, young ones to boot you know exactly why I needed something a little larger. I have recently installed a 1275 auto box so that my little lady can enjoy the experience of driving a mini as well. We might be a bit older than most of you guys out there but that doesn't mean we can't have some fun!!

i stumbled across this site just now while im in Scotland seeing family. but im from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada( well out in the boonies).

i love driving the mini on the country roads and the cornering is so awesome. ive got a 91 rover mini. i have fixed it up on the interior and exterior. but im doing an engine swap in the spring to a 1275, im also tinkering witht the idea of super charging or turboing it.

Hi everyone, im Rory from Bedford, England.
i heard about the forum from afew friends who also own mini's and told me it was good for asking questions and talking to other mini owners. i love it already!
i myself own a 1982 998 austin mini mayfair, great fun, but its currently off the road due to MOT failure... its a real shame. love that car.
at the moment im driving a 1275 austin metro, not bad on the whole but prefer the mini. i feel its more me
anyways feel free to message/talk to me! i love talking about mini's!

Evening All.

I'm new to this site too. I'm after a bit of advice really. I need to get shot of an old mini for my mother-in-law. Its an '87 limited edition Park Lane. Its been garaged for 8 years, so doubt whether its drivable.
Which section do i post the info on. Would it be the 'project' forum, 'general cha't, or 'for sale' forum.?
I wouldn't want to upset the system by doing it wrong!! I might get told off!

Thanks

Neil

Howdy,

I found the site while searching for instructions on fitting a new headliner. I am in the middle of a resto on a 92 cooper.

Indeed the headliner has been the toughest task thus far. I am still so baffled that all those wrinkles came out.

Rob from Leeds.
Had my mini for about 4 months now. Took it out for the first time (with me driving) yesterday, after about 450 hours work on it and had taken it fully apart, mod'd a couple of things, cleaned the engine and put everything back together. Just came across it when searching for the dimensions for mini's on google, had a look around and made an account. Thought it would be good to chat to other Mini enthusiasts :D
