Just to add to the leaded/unleaded thing...


Reggie's still got a leaded head and it really doesn't involve much faffing about at the petrol station. It's an extra 30 seconds on top, if that.

I don't think you'll have a problem at all, keeping him leaded... If you're not doing that many miles in him, then you're not going to get through that much additive, so it's not gonna be too costly.

will just higher the octane more. not really needed and you wont see much difference.

Got him back to Surrey, courtesy of Uncle Mike at Wood & Pickett.



Had a quick check over & everyfing is there. Both sets of keys still on their unipart leather fobs, original jack & wheel brace. He's actually in better condition than I remember him from a fortnight ago.

The nudge bars are Wood & Pickett and they would have been fitted during the period in which the current W&P Director was work for British Leyland .........oooh the circle of life is a curious fellow indeed.....
