N/S footwell & sill solid.
Boot floor all patched up.
There are four pieces of new sill on the O/S but Sean has made it look & feel like a single panel.
I am so pleased with his level of craftsmanship.
This is the last of the niggley jobs that need doing before his new wings go on.
Then it's time for the (now solid) floor to be rubbed down & treated...
....and then he can be primed & sprayed!! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Yes, he is going as black as black can be. Blackety-black. With extra black just to make sure.
mk3 Cooper S - thanks for the offer. I haven't seen his rear bumper in 2 years and cannae remember exactly what it is like. I was planning just to have it rechromed as I don't think it's too shabby, but I will check & get back to you.
Now to find the bonnet release bits. Need to line stuff up at the workshop. I think it's in the cellar, but I ain't sure.....

Any more progress on this?
I took the grille, hinges & bonnet catches down to the paintshop a fortnight ago. He was in solid primer then, waiting for his belly to be seam-sealed.

I posted this on Bookface last night (when forum was daaaahn), as my nice bodyshop guru Ricky send me a piccy message yesterday:
The painting has begun!!
Belly has had seams filled & been stone-chipped.
Tommy is solid & now has a oneway ticket to Shineytown.
