Juju's been waiting for the guy who is supposed to be panelling him up to do exactly that.
Only it hasn't happened.
And he's advertising on here for more work.....

There is some breakdown in communication here.Juju.
All the panels are ready to go. I'll take out the middleman & speak to him direct. I just left him a message on his answer phone. Here's hoping...

Well, since April 2010, there has been much upset over this project.
Upset for many parties involved, but no progress.
Today, Tommy's shell is being transferred to another body shop, and work will (finally) begin tomorrow.
Will 2011 be the year of the GT?? Will I finally have a working clubbie??!!

He's had to be shotblasted again. Been sitting around for so long that he had nothing better to do than rust.
Bootlid & bonnet all prepped for spraying.
Driver's door's been reskinned.
Will get some pics on tuesday.
He might be sprayed this week!!! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

Fab news Ju - so will he be ready for L2B this year??? Could win a prize hee hee
Doubt he'll be ready by then. Plobly too soon, but we shall see.
If he's on the road in time for July, I shall be well chuffed. We have a big speshul family & friends type do to organise & celebrate. Tommy's presence there would be ace!

To be honest the putting back together is easy and satisfying, the problem is that every part you pick up will end up being cleaned, painted, polished etc and that is what takes the time!

Don't rush it Juju, you'll only regret it.

Too right, Mr C. Too right.
The bodyshell is actually taking time now.
Post 'blasting for the second time it's taking a lot of rubbing down. It's the biggest job this bodyshop have ever done (weird considering he's a min-min & they're used to working on SUVs... ), so they are being meticulous & doing panel-by-panel.
Last time I saw, he had a new floor in one footwell, new sill down one side no front wings and rather neat holes cut in the boot floor. It's all coming along nicely now.
And I have found him a garage to live in too. (Thanks to Mr Scallywag!)
