OK. I'll wait for you in the stationery cupboard.
You really need to hold on to this JUJU ,hard to find a gt with all its proper bits.Store it until you can do it justice, thats what i am doing with my gt's.
I will try & hang on to him. Ta.

He's going to be a much longer term project than originally planned. BUT, we will rebuild him eventually. We have the technology......

Anyway, glad that you've come to your senses about Tommy. He's going to be a corker when he's finished anyway!

Cheek.
He's at the shotblasters & will be thoroughly exfoliated this week. Am hoping to get some pics too. Looks like he might not need a whole new floor now. Might be able to get away with some decent patchwork. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

huzzah! good news Juju
Yay!
Am having more thoughts.
OK, so I want my little Tommy fella to be original. However, I would like to use him quite a lot & I don't want to destroy his original seats with my abrasive arse.
He has a set of gold minilites as his everyday wheels & I'm having his denovos refurbed for speshul days.
So, I was thinking, how's about getting hold of a set of spare second hand seats & having them covered in black vinyl with gold piping? Continue the black & gold theme throughout? I think that may just be ultra-fabby for everyday pootling . What do you reckon?

I have it on good authority that BL brushed nylon velour was a front runner as a potential covering for the space shuttle so I don't think it's anything worry about urgently.
It's the foam perishing that worries me. My enormous cats have been nesting on them in the back bedroom for the past 6 months too.
Your seat will go saggy before it wears through - maybe Tommy's too
It already has. Gravity has finally won the battle.
