Looks like a good project
To get the headlining out the windows need to come out as it folds under the seals.

Keep it looking standard outside then put some beasty under the hood

Plan of action for sunday is to remove all windows, boot lid and bonnet.

Also I have bought a new door step so am going to grind the old one out and get the old one fitted hopefully.

Been to Slark Race Engineering today, they are going to put a quote together for an engine - 1380cc etc etc - will post it up when I get it.

Will take some pictures once sorted!

Got alot done today!

Headlining out, all windows removed, bonnet and boot taken off and stripped down, and new door step preped to be welded in.

Heres a couple of pictures!

Plan for mid week is to take all lights off, by that time it will just need the body work doing ready for paint.

Looks like a good project any more pics? Are you still doing it in Tahiti Blue or have you changed your mind???! Can I have a drive?!

No other pics at the moment, am hopefully going to bring it home in the next couple of days so take a few more then.

Will have all the body work sorted in the next couple of weeks and once I have sorted brakes, suspension and roll cage I am going to get it sprayed.

Think I am still with Tahiti Blue but will prob change my mind.

If I go down the supercharger route it will have about 140bhp hopefully!

More than happy for you to take it out - were gona have to track day it!

Over the past couple of days a helper and myself have replace drivers side, A panel, sill, doorstep and floorpan.

Am going to be replacing all the same on the passenger side next week.

Ok - so over the past couple of days I have been quite busy.

Next is to strip subframe, repaint and install new brakes and suspension.

Once the car is painted this will all be going back on.

Am going to spray the underside of the car myself with stonechip i think and then it can go off to be painted.

Bloody hell, it's lost it's engine! Looking good. When is it going for painting and what colour???

I like this colour at the moment - estoril blue but it will probably change before paint.

Done a little more work this week -

Rear subframe is removed and stripped down and Roll Cage is in, just need to drill the holes to fit it, and then getting front and rear subframes, and roll cage powder coated.

Anyone got any tips on fitting wheel arches in the right place, mine are group 5's?

O.k work done over the past week include, drilling the holes to mount the roll cage, cutting front wings to accept 13" wheels and painted up as many parts as i can.

I have attached a picture of the rear drums, what do you think?
