thx for ur consern jimbo, but when BMW took over rover they got rid of small garages, like my dad worked at, so his garaged anit affected luckly

I think the Kseries is a great engine. The thing is to just maintain it well!
Because its made of aluminium if it overheats it warps and causes all sorts of head gaskets issues. But if you do not allow it to over heat they go very well!

I have a 1.4 out of a rover 25 in my pickup and it goes very well! I can get 7.7seconds for 0-60 and about 125 mph at top line ( this is calculated off tacho so very little error!)
