It's at your own risk, the milage is something thats associated with the car, I don't think you're supposed to tamper with it at all.

I read something once about someone who changed their dials for a new set or something and later sold the car and they were done for fraud or something because it looked like they were trying to say the car had done less miles than it had.

Hey guys, thanks for the all the replys!

Don't worry, i'm not going to be selling the car and claiming it done less miles than it has etc.

But everything on the car is new with regards suspension, brakes, engine, everything, so 0 miles is about right

hehe..

Bored to 1310
+40' Omega Pistons
SW5 Cam
Balanced Crank
Drilled for 11 studs
New Cam bearings
New main and big ends
New piston rings

Balanced/Lightened Flywheel
Orange Diaphragm Clutch

Completely Rebuilt gearbox
Straight Cut Drops
Cross Pin Diff
3.44 Final Drive

Stage 3/4 Head
1.75 Carb with KN Filter (HIF 44 i think)

Can't think of anything else... the carb might change if it's not a 44. It's needed for a supercharger.

I'm toying with the idea of welding a battery box into the bulkhead for a weber... but who knows.

After putting the cam, followers, crank, pistons in yesterday, here's the reviewed list from earlier. Bit more precise and up to date:

1275 Block originally bored to 1310, has been skimmed, and honed.
+40' Omega Pistons with new set of rings and new bearings
SW5 Cam with new cam bearings in block
Balanced Crank with bearings
Drilled for 11 studs
New cam followers/tappets
New pushrods
New oil pump
All new gaskets
New water pump
centre main strap

Balanced/Lightened Flywheel
Orange Diaphragm Clutch with new drive plate

Completely Rebuilt gearbox with new baulk rings
Straight Cut Drops
Cross Pin Diff
3.44 Final Drive

Stage 3/4 Head with a light skim
standard rockers (for now)
HIF44 Carb with KN Filter

And on another note, i bought a RC40 straight through and a maniflow freeflow. yay.
