I've googled Miniman but cannot find any info... Does anyone have contact details/location/website for Miniman?

Do you mean Miniman in Knowle the garage that sold mini's??

If so they no longer exist, John (the owner) sold up a while ago.

The place is now called Concours Motor Cars and they sell classics (new & old) I think they still do work etc on mini's and they still sell a few too

Miniman is/was John Palmer who has retired from selling minis in Knowle near Soilhull. TC's Hatter came from him.
Most famously sold a Paul Smith to Liam Gallagher and wife, Nicholle and had to go and deliver it, his lads have a good couple of stories from that trip!
Also had a letter from BMW framed on his wall threatening him with legal action if he didn't change his trading name or pay BMW huge sums of money.......he did neither!!
Top bloke, knew all there was to know about minis having worked on them since the early 60s.

John Palmer: Absolute top bloke. Sold me the wife's S works 500 as her first mini - she adores the "angry wasp". We had it serviced there until he retired, driving up from London especially for the day. Never any hassle and sorely missed.

isn't if funny how people get a different impression of people.

i went over to mini-man when i was looking to get back into minis, he didnt have what we wanted at the time so i left him my number and instructions of what i was looking for.

the guy never got back to me.

little did he know i had £14,000 in the bank after just selling a house and if he'd pushed his luck with me, he could have sold me any mini he wanted, cash.

guess he just couldn't be bothered. oh well, the next guy was happy with the cash.
