Just read this whole project and I LOVE it!

Few questions now I'm inspired...

How much has it cost you so far, roughly?
What's more cost efficient, tuning the A-Series or going for a full conversion inc. subframe?
Just how much power you expecting from that bad boy once its done!


Loving the engine colour scheme too very raunchy!

Defiantly going to consider a Vauxhall conversion when I eventually get round to it, just because Vauxhall engines are pretty much bomb proof..my 16 year old corsa never misses a beat so that proves that haha.

thanks mate roughly spent just under 3 grand so far still got a long way to go yet tho. this is the first mini i have owned i am only 22, think a have changed my mind loads of times on what engine to go from, from an a-series to a a-series turbo vauxhall red top but settled on the 8v lump. to tell the truth i have never drove the car since a got it. just cant waite to get if finshed to drive it lol.

well the fun begins woohooo putting her all back together now got the front end all sorted fitting perfect . going to mini spears north this sat to get some goodies also i have picked up a speed sensor for my dash should make it a little easer than mounting a daft magnet some where an the car, pic of it below , it just slides on to the vaux speedo cable easy. got round to refitting the rad BUT the thing dont fit any more, it hits the front end now dont ask how but am sure i trile fitted the thing befor it all got painted, so i have find a nother rad now . made some new door cards as well and recovered them will try and get some pics of them up. going to send my arches back to the carbon wheezel to get the finish coat of carbon on som time this week. any way here is how she looks now

unsure at the moment mate going to mini spares on sat might come back with something lol

done a bit more to the mini got my front end all wired up head lights in no grill yet tho. made a plate that is hinged to the bulk head to mount my fuse box on, keeps it tucked away. re-fitted fuel pump set up with filter. spent quite a bit of time doing the in side of the car made some rear pannels and covered them pics below. still got a long way to go but getting there any way the pics.
