so the intake is inside the car

surely that will be one loud
2 impracticle
3 mean less cold air
4 a slightly mad place for it

only the mas air flow sensor will be in side the filter will come out the other side of the dash mate just that i think it will spoil the look because it is so big and looks a bit sh*t lol

just been plodding on the last few weeks got the car over to my work made a temperary exhaust untill i can afford a stainless one looks ok for now tho, still have not heared it few more things to do, to get the engine running again. fitted the air con, no roof lol. mind the steel roof is heavie for what it is. started with the intake pipe again just a few little things to weld up on it, think it looks a lot better when you can not see the air flow meter,
should have the dash all painted by the weekend if i can kick my self in to gear lol and stop behind at work and get it done.
just seems like i am doing all this work to the car and it is still no closer to been finished. any way here is some pics.

When you feel like you are doing loads and getting nowhere with it, write a list of what needs doing and cross jobs off when they are done - that way you can actually see how much you've done,

well at least you have a garage! i dont have anything (street conversion anyone?!). but there are quite a few garages across the road that are unused, im gonna go round and ask the residents if someone would be willing to rent one out to me for a month or two, but to be honest neighbours round here are a bit up-tight so im not holding my breath!

Excellent stuff, just read this from page 1!
