i'm trying to find the bearing numbers so that i can purchase them at my local bearing supplier instead of ordering them from a mini shop. some have the number stamped on them, but some dont, and these are the ones i'm looking for. my gearbox is a 4 sync pre-verto, "A".
here's what i have so far, first number is the mini part number.
AAU1815 - none stamped - 1ST GEAR BEARING (DOUBLE ROW)
ADU7619 - 3MDJT1G RHP or 2/MJ28.5 - 1ST MOTION (LARGE)
AAU8424 - 1/LRJ15.8 - (SUPPORT BEARING - 1ST MOTION, OUTER)
AAU1816 - none stamped - 2ND/3RD BEARING
AAU1365 - 15MJ1-1/8 RHP - BIG DOUBLE ROLLER
13H7848 - SCH1212 OR JHD1212 - IDLER GEAR
88G396 - none stamped - LONG LAYGEAR BEARING
CHM172 - none stamped - PILOT BEARING
CHM141 - none stamped - SHORT LAYGEAR BEARING
AHU1856/MS - 4/LJT34.9 - DIFF output shaft BEARINGS
can anybody help?
thanks

AAU1815 and 16 are specific Mini gearbox bearings, you won't find them at a bearing specialist, at least not easily.

I wouldn't bother, but give it a try....
I tried to get the bearings locally from a RHP supplier, the spigot bearing which is about £10 from mini specialists, they were wanting over £40 not including vat, but I can get you the numbers (RHP)
Double roller 1/MDJT25.4N
Single roller 2/MJ28.5
Diff bearings LJ1.3/8J
1st Motion Spigot bearing 1/LRJ15.8
All the rest are pretty much specific to the mini gearbox, it's probably just as cheap buy them in the UK and get them sent over ( as I've just seen you're in Canada )

Mart, I posted a reply for you on the Coopertune site. Paraphrasing it here, I had no luck when I went to my bearing supply house with carefully measured bearings. I did find some NOS parts at MiniSport for my 3-synchro gearbox.
