it's a Speedwell dash, I have one that I'm planning to have copied as the wood on mine is a bit too thick to bend to the curved shape

Thanks. It's a warning light cluster from a Triumph Dolomite- I needed something to replace the indicator, ignition lights etc.

How do you convert from the later ( ashtray) top rail to a old style dash rail?
Got my hands on a Rokee dash, and I think it won't fit otherwise? ( still being shipped) somethign like this :

The old rail is under the padded dash - reach under and find the nuts, undo them and wrestle the dash out - just have to fill the holes where the padded dash fixings penetrate.

Here's mine. It's a new old stock Speedwell or Radford dash (can't remember which one, if even either! So I'm sticking with Speedwell as it sounds cooler haha) that I've always wanted. Same one as tedmcedd's from quite a few pages back, finally got round to cutting out the gauge holes, nerve racking task that was!
Centre speedo gauge needs adjusting slightly. Crackle black painted it after I cut the holes out, came out perfect, unfortunately I didn't get a picture of the effect. Will have to get a close up snap when I'm next down my lockup :)
