Standard MPi dashboard re-finished properly to Rolls Royce / Bentley Standards by ex works staff using the same wood as used on current Rolls.

I can get these done if yours has the dreaded water marks.

PM if you're interested

PS sorry for the not great pics

I am currently trying to design the dashboard for my car. Is there a law regarding the type of dashboard switches used on later minis (mine is a '94)? I say this because I heard that rocker switches replaced toggle switches for crash safety reasons. I am looking to build a racing style fibreglass dashboard and would have liked to include toggle switches in the design, if this would cause implications I will use the flick up cover switches like on the starter button I am planning to use.

i made the designs myself and then sent them off to this company  http://www.heagren.com/gallileo/ to have them printed, then its just a case of taking the clocks apart n swapping the faces over although getting the needles off is a hard job so i cheated n cut the hole bigger so the needle would pass through :D

Re routed some of the wires, added length to the wiring for dashboard so i can connect it up easily and fix into place. Also means dash can be removed and pulled forward should there be any reason to get behind dash.

Just finished my new fascia...Black vinyl over aluminium.

It took a couple of days worth of measuring and whittling to get right. One of the most challenging aspects was getting the piece which will join the fascia and centre binaccle measured up and shaped.

All gauges by Smiths and will be operational as opposed to ornamental.

Just waiting on a Smiths 80mm Tacho to fill the gap.

***Took an absolute age to find those rare, 'Oil Check' and 'Fasten seat belt' gauges.
