very nice ka dash mate, i love seen these and what other people have done with theirs, very unique. how you finding it?
cheers, havent driven around with it in yet, but moving the seats back and adding the dished steering wheel seem to help with the space a bit, so it doesnt feel like it takes up all the cabin, I have had a bit of a problem with the flock, so might need to take it out to get redone
how is your KA dash holding up?

it took forever to get it in there, I have probably taken the last 6 months to do the interiour, im never the fastest at doing these things though. The things that took the longest was the new digital speedo and all the wiring, plus adding 10 inches of wire into all the dash switches took some time

I'm sorry but I dnt get the hole KA dash in a mini just get a KA if that's what u want. The KA has never been a nice car because of the cheap making of it.
have you seen h4wx1es dash on here?? its completely customised, a lot of hours went into it and in person its amazing.
even the editor of mini mag said he'd never seen anything like it.

each to their own I suppose, if everyones mini was the same, it wouldnt be the scene that it is.
personaly, I liked the curves of the KA dash, a lot of the other dashes had flat edges to them, and the standard mini interiour is a bit flat and edgy as it is, plus it has a large round middle section so you can hide the heater matrix, which some other dashes dont.

i decided to put five small clocks in, and i made a pod to mount them in, angled towards the driver ( me:-D )
its taken me ages to get it all shaped up and mounted, but its all done now. got it all skimmed up tonight.
ive put a slight angle on the two outside main clocks too, just to give it some shape, i didn't want it all to look flat.

How do you all secure your dashbaords to the mini??? (not KA or saxo or anything like that) i am makin a custom dash that will fit in the top and bottom rail but have no CLUE on how to secure it........
cheeers:)
ive welded some lugs onto mine, one in the top centre, on the inside and then three on the bottom, screwed under the rail.
what you making yours from?
