Interesting idea, I tried putting a CD player in there before but it was a bit of a fag and to be honest, although it's hardly original, I quite like the toggle switch panel there like that, keeps the dash nice and empty.

What I might do with the CD is fit it into a board that goes under the rear seat (which I don't use anyway) and see how that goes.

Here's a picture of chris' car (username is bert998) from retro retims.
The cd player is in the switch panel and the switches are kind of hidden out the way. I think it look amazing.

i like the paint is that like a matt black?

damn it!... im gonna paint mine matt black too... didnt think there was many minis around in that colour...

...well at least im goin for a cream interior...

sorry mate theres a few of them around, its harder than you think nowadays to be the first or only one to do something to a mini.

i didnt mean with the cream interior (im not sure about that) i just meant the matt black had been done before.

great!... now its a chicks car... nuts... ok so matt black ,all over... no chrome... no shiny stuff just head to toe black... which was my original idea...

wil fit 2 speakers on each side with the mpi clocks centerd





will fit a mk1 clock in a binnacle i have made from fiber glass and a rev clock in the side

both dashes were made by myself from fiberglass

Heres my new dash...custom made out of aluminium then covered the lot with black suede anti glare type fabric...pretty pleased with the final result!

just used halford matt black then around fifteen coats of clear laquer then a good flat and polish using 2500 wet and dry

Has anyone got a Curley Evo 3 please? Cant find a picture anywhere apart from the tiny one here: Curley ABS
Would love to see one as Im thinking of ordering one for my Mini but cant decide between Evo 2 or 3, fibreglass or carbon. And the suppliers are about a 10 hour round trip from me so too far to go to have a look.
Please tell me someones got one!
