[Down&Out]

hi all i am making a dash for my mini mayfair and i am thinking of a carbon fibre finish. has any one made a dash with a carbon fibre finish, if so do you have a pic of it i can see. i think all that carbon fibre will look too much. thanks paul

Here's a poor picture of mine. I need to sort a better way of securely mounting the clock unit into the dash, the standard way doesn't seem too solid.

to the guy above about carbon fibre effect dashboards..

I've got one in my car (in the original flat shape) its all carbon fibre effect and it looks pretty funky. its well built as well so it doesn't look crappy

I wouldn't have put it in if i had choice but i like it as is.

Here's mine i did myself. Bought the fibreglass dash off ebay, then covered it with black corderoy and urban camo. I think it's rather snazzy!

does anybody have a picture of this dash but with sportpack clocks? will it work in this dash? opinions...

yes will take mpi clocks the dash was origianlly designed to use the standard clocks either left on the mounting bracket or fixing them directly to the back of the dash
