im loking into puting the astra gte clock into my mini, anyone got a picture of their dash with them in??

home made mine - its not too bad! - it does have some chrome covers to go on the screws but ive just had it out and havent got round to putting the covers back on yet!

just wondering if it is hard to remove the bottom dash rail and retain the switch panel, as shown here

These are both Autoplas dashes that have been modified. They have also had a few days of sanding to get rid of the fake leather look, and lots of paint...

he guys does anyone know from wich car that steercover thingy on the first(blue) autoplas dash is?
(sorry don't know the name in english, the thing where the extra guage is placed on just behind the steeringwheel) or is it a custom one?

looks like an mpi one to me with a rev guage on the top ( i might be looking at the wrong bit)

no you could be right, never looked at it in an mpi but it looks much better than the 'old' one

and it doesn't really look like a custom job appart from the guage ofcourse (or it's been done real good)

lol i used hair spray glitter lol worked a treat i sprayed it gloss black rubbed it down the sprayed it with the glitter hair spay and laquered it.

wher did you find them switches on the top dashboard? blue one. ta.. pics comming soon when i find outhow to do it. I have made my own custom dash fr scratch, like no other, pics soon and mould will be available on request

Such a shame, I regret just taking a photo of your mini at MITP, I wish I had come over and had a proper look and some banter!
