Right, here's my next project, which I would appreciate views on...
This glassfibre canopy will be painted the same colour as the rest of the car. It will be an alternative to the tonneau cover. It's a good fit. My first question is: what kind of door would be best at the back?

ahuh hueys new lid, was wondering what was going on with that. Like the body coloured idea, just hope you can get the colour match ok.
I recon you should use the window frames from mini doors, weld a couple together and maybe the channel on the bottom so you can have sliding glass in it like the side windows. Might be a bit tricky to get right but i recon it would be awsome. Good luck!

teapot, i reckon that we could get something sorted in Fibreglass that will give you a split tailgate like they have on many 4x4's these days! Got a few spare boot hinges in the garage and can rig up a stay to keep it open!

Good, good, these are good ideas. On another forum where I posted this the best idea I got was to stick a tail on the back and a big key on the top, paint it grey and call it a clockwork mouse.
I'd like the rear door/window to be see-thru if poss.

how about using rear doors from a van, cut to shape, that way you have rear vision out of them and they will swing open out of the way when you want to put something in the back you can, without too many problems..
