Yes the accident was quite buttock clenching, but only half as bad as the camp site bog roll (800 grit).

Was it this by chance.......

Hello everyone, just saying hello, I'll be joining you guys this year. I sold my Mini about 5 years ago (anyone got H860 AEG on here?), but I'll be tagging along in my '89 Roadster:

Spec and geometry is purely modified for the Nordschleife, 116 bhp, no torque, lapped recently a GPS verified 8:44 BTG, roll cage, drivers kevlar seat, ceramic brake pads with Castrol SRB fluid, R888's, Mech slippy diff, wide arches, custom made panasport wheels.... very old school tuning!

Ta! :D

Very nice! However, may I ask why you have no torque?! :D And thrashing a convertible around the track would worry me!

thats a WHOLE MINUTE FASTER than me, and my car is 170hp more..... very impressive!

but in my defence, i have only done circa 20laps in my car and its rather twitchy being that its more setup for drift than grip.

EDIT - For people who dont know.. i'll be taking this...

Its just not a very torquey engine, no clever reason! It's caged now.

You will also be talking about Dale, another mate of mine in his Eunos:

We have an on-going Red Car / Blue car battle:  (which gay hairdresser can perm fastest)
http://bridgetogantr...n...85&Itemid=1

He did a 9:03, then a 8:46 GPSV BTG, and I was struggling to dip below 9:01, but am now down to 8:44 (with passenger and roof off), so hopefully there might be an 8:38 in it, but I'm not going to try and nail it, or I'll crash! :D
I wonder if he's out there then actually, I might give him a shout and see if he's up for some more battles....

Cheers everyone, great forum by the way and some awesome Mini's! I will see if I can dig out pictures and see if anyone recognises it.

Nice looking Eunos there! Are those wheels Smoor's by any chance?

You were also at the 'Ring at the same time as us last year back in September, I remember watching both of you giving it some, they're rapid motors, and perfect for the 'Ring!!

I think Alex went with you too, he's got a grey G40, you should persuade him to come along as well!
