Popped out yesterday and got my tyres fitted. I think a couple of the fitters where nursing semi's for them...

Posted Image

Got the last little bits of welding on the back end done and put the rear subframe back on (it actually fitted this time :w00t: ). Then put it back on it's wheels. Had to try the alloys, it would be rude not to! :D

I think it needs lowering a touch...

Tried the Group 2 arches again, definitely need the wide ones. Hopefully pick some up at Bingley.

Time to park this project for a while. It's time we cracked on making the metro van faster, lighter, lower and louder. :D

This project looks great, should have it done soon enough.

Thanks. Will be at least another year yet, still plenty to do. Aiming for Avon 2012.

Got the supercharger and manifolds all bolted in for mocking up. Really pleased with how they fit and look.

Then I started on mocking up the fuel injection stuff

Got a slight clearance issue with the air filter.

I was considering a longer manifold, but Ben (he made the manifold kit) has suggested that may cause me problems with fuel pooling in the manifolds and loose throttle response. I think I'll look into longer a trumpet.

With a bit of tube and threaded bar mocking up, the air filter fits.

Looks like I'm going to need a 200mm long trumpet. Not sure what that will do for torque and driveablity.

First time I've seen this one and wow, this is going to be awesome when it's finished!

The S/C setup with the injectors looks so trick, love it.

Calm yourself Barry :withstupid:

Yep 6 x 10s. Fantastic wheels!

The fuel injection should make it ******* on to drive and give me a small amount of fool economy.
