Apologies for recommeding another message board, but there is a 1275GT section of Specialist Mini Forums, run by Kay from MiniWorld. The guys seem pretty knowledgable and will probably be able to help you with more info about GT Challenge/Longman spec.

The GT challenge and the longman car in the photo are 2 differant cars. Longman did drive in the challenge though I don't think he won that. the car in the photo is from the British Saloon car championship which he did win.

There was a write up on a repro of this car in one of the mini mags a cople of years back, try asking the magazines if they still produce it. iirc the quallity of the build was top notch too.

Can you walk all round the mini at the autosport show or is it a restricted area.(meaning are the general public only allowed to view from the red carpet areas)

spoke to a man at work who said his friend owns this car! He was taking the car and his friend to the nec! could try and find out more as we have still got his rover 110 for some resto work!cheers for all your pics guys been a great help!

Cheers some info on the spec would be great as all i have been able to find out is that it was producing 105 bhp but dont know any engine specs also long shot but details on the interior of the car and mayb some pics as searched forever and there is not a single shot of the interior of the car, any help is good help tho thanks in advance
