Let's not forget though that good taste is the enemy of all creativity. Anyone want to go halves with me on one of those cars? I'll let them drive it sometimes, honest

lol no-one's saying everything is fine and dandy, it's just that posting horrible pics in a forum titled "mini chat" and in a thread about ex-works/replicas is in my mind inappropriate and in bad taste, not the end of the world though. Anyway, I've said enough and if your photo didn't have a watermark it'd now be my avatar lol

its called google

i dont believe its a "horrible" pic, i agree its not a nice image to see but its happening and also i couldnt give a cr*p about it being in minichat

id rather use the 40k to spend on somthing better, like a lancia delta intergralie evoII which is about 30k its self :-

well the point i was trying to make (and maybe it was done in an inappropriate way) is that we as a society place to much value on things that are really not that important, and as these ex-works minis are far less original than most people actually realise i personally find the whole situation of the cost of these things bizarre.

i then went on the point out that if someone as anti religious as i am can still willingly participate in the "commercial" side of Christmas, then there is little hope of the rest of the world changing.

yes i was having ago at myself for being hypocritical, in the sense that i also go along with the materialistic ways of our society. the amount of over priced toys i have bought in the run-up to Christmas is unbelievable but i continue to do it because my kids wont be happy on X-mas morning if i tell them i bought some starving children in Africa some things that are likely to save their lives.

the whole situation is wrong and we are all as guilty as the next bloke in the Que for the till at toys are us

i genuinely wish people a happy Christmas, not in a religious way maybe, but in a humane way, but we should all feel a little bit guilty for our pleasures and think of people less fortunate, right before we open another present and stuff ourselves sick with chocolates :- :-

I really can't see why anyone would take offence at the image the anorak posted, since many years back people like Bob Geldof highlighted the plight of the poor and got dozens of pop stars together to make a Xmas record.

So was "Do They Know It's Christmas" in bad taste even though it raised millions for them?

Anyway chill out everyone, it is Christmas after all and I've always found religion, churches and chapels scary (and no I'm not the child of the devil... I don't think?), but Christmas is all about peace.

its a sick world we live in... i wonder what these guys would buy with £40,000 - £50,000 :-

Posted Image

" Well they wouldnt by contriception..." :-

I dont think any mini is worth 40,000, and if it was i would buy it...even if i had the money!!

nice one, very tastefull!

think about what your writing would you!!!

( are hope your not quoting me sunshine!! )

This can be very delicate indeeeeeed, i myself would not buy a 40,000 mini, i would buy myself enough luxus for me and my family...total indulge, charity begins at home!! and thats where it should stay!!!

Id only spend at the most 3000 on a mini, works or not!!! and personilise it to my taste...

Even the number plates on DJB 93B are not original, at least with these other cars they were at some point the real thing hopefully, even if the cars have been reshelled several times. Where as DJB 93B was not ever in any part the car it's registered as
