Sorry, but if this is the case couldn't Simon have just rung up Oli's parents for confirmation prior to shipment, maybe also confirmation of shipping address? It would have taken one simple phone call!

Of course he could have done......

You would think a column in Miniworld about the accident, saying that I (I was named) was taking charge of the project, would be enough proof?

Neither myself, or Pierre were ever asked to prove who we were, Simon came across very helpful on the phone, and assured us many times it would be sent ASAP.

If he wasn't prepared to send it without some form of written consent, all he had to do was say.

Oli's mum is in no position to speak to Simon at all, as after everything has dragged out so long, she just can't deal with it.





I appreciate everything you have done Dan, and I do not wish to get into any arguement, considering you were trying to help.

However, some things remain fact. I do not know what Simon has told you, and I do not blame you for taking it to be true.

I have nothing to gain from making things up do I?

All I will say is that everything I have posted is simple fact.

we WERE told the engine had already been shipped. MANY times, most recently on thursday.

at NO point was anyone asked for confirmation of authority.

The address given by us was the same address given by Oli before his death.

The engine was built and paid for in full in September. It has still not been delivered.

Right, I don't think we're ever going to find out the full truth here, were just going on the word of Prawn and wolfy. Both parties are in the wrong here Prawn is for not keeping us updated on things and morspeed for sitting on the engine till september. I still don't fully understand and believe morspeeds motive's about the whole situation.

Now that we are getting more updates about Oli's mini can we now stop these petty squabbles that are happening. It may not have been ready for may but there are plenty more shows oli's car can be admired at this year if people stop arguing and pull there fingers out.

This is not what the forum, Oli's friends and family and certainly not what Oli would want his car remembered for.

i would expect so, but it seems that people argue about things 99.9% of the time and thank people the other 0.01%. None of this has been morspeed's fault. I you had that much money wrapped up in an engine and a company to run everyone would have done the same.

im not sure what has happened, i wont be at work this week due to lectures, i agree with alex to be honest, the "scene" is full of moaners and whingers when it comes to companies. everyone is a sheep and believes what someone else has said.

this is how companies go under...by people moaning when they dont know the company and have never dealt with them. just look on the forums to see how many people have had good dealings with simon.

i think people are just egar to hear about progress on the car and engine, its frustrating to read people arguing thats all

its a really great looking car and i think i speak for many that we cant wait for it to be done so keep the (positive) updates coming
