ive just started going out again 14mths after my accident and still enjoy it but suffer my surgen says i cant do anything more than light trails riding wich is a shame dit 8 mile on wednesday and it was hard work, i have no real strength in my leg.

I run fully ridgid so im lookin at getting a full bouncer to stop the impact on my hip

Well I'm off to the Afan Forest in Wales tomorrow, can't wait, as everyone I have spooken to say's it great.

Nothing like a last minute decision

Oh by the way we had a good afternoon yesterday on the Summer lightning trial, have to say its great fun

Afan is great, definatly need your fitness up to enjoy it properly though!

Afan is a mish. Went there with UKMB (About 20 of us went) and camped the weekend. Was a great laugh...

Note to self: Don't camp there in March!!! On the plus side the toilets are VERY warm.

Haven't been on a ride for a while:(

Would organise one but all my mates are never up to riding a long distance... :/

Might haul myself down to willingham woods (trailblazers/hamilton hill) for a good ride
got to sort my bike before though, not putting up with the chain slipping anymore.!

think a new rear mech and front chain ring is needed!

This thread persuaded any of you to start riding again?

This is my old Ridgeback which I had for about 7 years and used for the 10 mile commute into work from South Woodford to London Bridge each day following the tube bombings a few years back.

I have now upgraded to a Giant hybrid which is now my daily ride on the same 10 mile commute and is much better than the Ridgeback for road riding.

I also live right on top of Epping Forest so like to get up there with my 6 year old son for a bit of a burn when I can.

Loving the hybrid aswell, perfect!
