Looking good, have you got that wiring module yet?

Just a thought but it may be worth mounting it on rubber feet(I've seen your driving!!)

So when's it gonna be ready for then?

You should be ok.

From the look of the diagram its childs play!!

Basically you just connect the headlamps/indicators/etc straight to the new fuse board.

(what could go wrong!!!)

Have you seen the one that "The Matt" did?

He used industrial pneumatic tube fittings, dead easy, just need a 1/4bsp tap a few fittings and job done(I have all those if you need em!!)

Although really those type of fittings need positive pressure to work they are ok with vacuum. Another way would be to use hose tail or barb type fittings.

The tube is available in lots of different colours as well!!

yeah, i saw what he had but dont even know where id get that stuff localy, im not sure if its negative or positive pressure because its after the buterfly, surly must be same kinda thing as vacume gauge, i think thats negative, obviously trying to get air from where ever it can, more so with throttle closed.

saw something on demon tweeks which would work...but my my that was expensive £18 each n i would need 2

I can get you what you need for the price of postage and a beer at the next show!!

Pneumatic fittings are something I have in abundance!!

I use them everyday at work and have loads of them!

All I need to know is the size of the pipe inlet into the megajolt and I can work it back from there.

the MJ will need an internal diameter of 3mm :)| its 3mm with a single barb of 5mm across ( the measurments are across a rule not circomfrance)

not sure if will be best to have a wider one on the manifold and use reducers?

Sounds like 6mm od tube with an Id of 4mm would be ideal?

Pair of 6mm elbows with T piece and job done.

so the 6mm t-piece...would this increase the ID of tubes going to the manifold?

i found a place on internet local to me who deal in pnumatic stuff, send me a PM with you mobile number, if im unsuccessful with this place tomorrow morning would i be able to ask help with seeking suitable parts from yourself?

No, to be honest I wouldn't bother, the more joints you have the more complicated it becomes and the more chance of leaks.

6mm tube will flow a considerable amount of air,

The important bit is getting the tubes the same length, otherwise you'll get an imabalance.

The bits are easy enough to source.

You'll need

2m 6mm polyurethene tube
2x 6mm - 1/4bsp elbows
6mm push fit equal T piece.

A 1/4 BSP tap, I bet Southam will have one.

Use a sharp stanley knife blade or even better a proper pneumatic tube cutter to cut the pipe(cheap enough)

Don't use side cutters!!

I'll drop you a PM with my no

so i ask for the OD of the tube then? (being 6mm) i got confused, thought you meant the ID increased to 6mm

Take the jolt unit with you and you can check it for fit on the tube.

Yup, you ask for the tube based on the OD.
