gave me a chance to clean out my garage and there is now room to park her up when we get back. Amazing how much stuff you gather over time that just gets thrown out when you have a tidy. More pics to follow tomorrow

All wrapped up and ready to go. The roof and arches are done, we've come back so the paint can dry out and some stuff to be done then it's back later on to start the body.

well it was a right pain. Got a few things to clean up and touch up after the spray and we didn't get home after till about 2:30 this morning but it looks lovely. Just a shame that the guys at the shop said we'd easily cover all inside and out with the paint. Yet we ran out with the boot lid and an few little bits to finish. Here's some orange sweet type porn :

yeah, hope to get it back here today then start on that. Just got more paint ordered so gonna have to do a home spray on the boot but should look alright. Can't wait to get back there and have a look at it later

I've got an orange mini with a black roof and I'm toying with the idea of an exposed weave CF bootlid as a contrast! Got the bootlid but not sure just yet!! If you need a hand one night next week let me know! The wife is working on monday night and thursday night so I can help if you want!

good stuff mate. Will let ya know. I live in the garage at the mo anyway so should get it done. Just need to rig up some kind of pulley system to get my food sent out to me

Back after having a night at the chippenham beer festival. The beer there wasn't that great but we then went into town and found a pub open till 3. Much drink and a little karaoke later we got to bed at 4 after another beer at home. 6X is such a good beer.
Well we have a few more pics for ya. She's home now and we have a few issues with the paint but that can be sorted. Gonna start the build tomorrow but not gonna be able to go out and do too much as it's the day to be drinking lots. My B'day so the folks are up and we're off out. enjoy

dam right. i can't wait for that first drive. Driving feels like a bit of a privalige as this is my daily driver and has been off the road since god knows, about september last year. Anyone want to get me a birthday cake. It must be orange though A guy in the garage a few away from mine just bought a BMW something or other and I said " yes it's a lovely car, but it's not orange is it"

yep am lucky to have one. even better cause the missus lets me stay out there working on the car so much.
