Tell me about it. Sooo cold in my garage. But still got started on my brakes. Got the metro locating jobies off the drive flanges, cleaned up these dam nasty looking calipers and stone guards. The a quick lick of paint for guards and flanges. Still need to get refurb kit for calipers before they get some colour.

Moved the car out to do the work. My exhaust is cutting it's own groove through the snow. Gotta go out in tomorrow :xxx: not gonna be too much fun.

Also got my tank and pump finished. Gave the tank a real good rub down and then a coat of satin black as the tank was in a real rough state. Pump came out of the honda and it was easy to fit into the mini tank. Didn't need to colour the top of it but thought why not as I'm at it. Sealant covering the wire crimps is from work where it's used in the aircraft fuel tanks so should be good :D

I'm waiting for the snow to go away then the car is coming off the road and getting started. Don't think I'll be doing IMM but the car will be ready for the riv run. Well I hope in plenty of time before so I can get rid of any teething problems

got the old pistons out of the calipers today. Nightmare job. Was going to take them into work and get the air lines on them to pop the pistons out but don't think it would of done much as they were well corroded in. You can see how bad the exposed areas were in these pictures

and one really didn't want to come out so after a bit of shouting at it I got the welder on it and made an arm to help twist it as I knocked it out. Took about a minute to free it up and get it out once tool was made :)

If you source the bits seperately then I can work out at an alright cost. I was gonna go for these which were the cheapest option but managed to do it i think for maybe £100
