sooooooo much wire

and also got the gearbox off so I can get the engine on a stand. Only problem was (didn't realise this before removing the box) the gearbox housing bolts are not long enough to go through the bracket on the stand and into the engine. Need to fine some longer ones with the same size thread. Anyone know what they are??? Would be a great help. Thinking they are m 8 bolts but all the ones I found were too small both in length and diameter. Is m 8 to do with the thread size?? So confused.

looks like I've got someone to put a base map on the p28 ecu I have. Maybe with the launch control and stuff. Might lower the vtech point too.

good thing is it's not too dirty so should clean up well. Got most of the mounting point off i don't need like ACC pump. But the engine mount by it is shot so need a new one.

anyone got a honda clutch alignment tool???
What state is the gear box?
If my memory serves me right when we used to rebuild the engine on the Synchro race cars we used the input shaft from the gearbox to align the clutch. If you need any assistance let me know and I can speak to my friend.
Just a quick question on the sump are you using the standard one or are you fitting a modified one with improved baffles. I know the K20 engine suffered badly from low pressure under severe cornering. We had to try a few different types of sumps and baffles. I know a man that could possibly help with some engine work and if you are tempted to have a bit of a rebuild and tune up then let me know.
Good luck with the car. I would love to see it once you have finished as I am very tempted to do a similar conversion my self some time in the future.
Martin.

yay it's soooo nice the work is top class. Glad I didn't try and make one

Got my skunk 2 through the other day and fitted my throttle body onto it. My cam belt kit has come through and am loving the heavy duty cv's. I do love a good bit a machine work

Oh and I also got this to try when the engine is in the frame. Not paid yet so can still give it back if it ain't gonna work
