No worries mate, they looked like 6.5's so I've already started fabricating my enclosures . Check my thread.

How much has the sound system cost you? I'm hoping mine will have enough kick to keep me happy:

SPL Dynamics 6.2 components.
12" JBL GT-4 sub in a custom box.
JBL GTO 75.4 amp (520watt).

Probably really weedy in comparison to yours .

well it's been a while. A bit quiet on the car side as I've been doing research on my engine change. Got a few things fitted in the mean time. Changed my springs back to standard douhnuts on the front as the ride was just too harsh. Much much better now. I've fitted a light in the boot so i can now see what I'm doing in there and also linked it up to a bright6 light module which sits in the dash ashtray area. All my warning lights go through there now which is great as it is very easy to see and being LED's are nice and bright. Got the handbrake light set up so it shows if the boot is open as I do spend alot of time worried as I'm driving that the stuff in the boot is goona fly out as it's not closed properly. Will try and get pics up of them when I take some.

But as I've said it's been a few months of research and I've now gone and bought this little baby













she's a nice 1.8i VTEC with 170 horses in a B18c4 engine with lsd to boot. She flies now so what it's gonna be like in the mini i cannot wait to find out. Gonna be a bit slow starting as I've gotta take the engine and stuff out. Clean it all up and mod it then get the frame ordered. Then in a few months take the mini off the road and get it done. Then I hope it's off to get another spray job (done better this time and not by me) Should be good and ready for riv run next year.

Gonna have to speak nicely to a MOD now to move over to the honda build pages. So long A series pages . Will be back with my next mini but for now HONDA HERE I COME ;O)

No not gonna be done for combe but I'll be there in the mini as she is at the mo. This is gonna be a project to get her done for the riv run so no hurry at the moment. Yeah spenner will want one in the end, he's worried we're all gonna leave him on the motorway down to cornwall haha

yeah i thought about going vaux but changed my mind so much between the two it was anoying me. Then realised I'd never had any honda car and really wanted it. Plus I'm more convinced on the build quality and reliability of Honda. But saying that any engine can go if it chooses too.

I'm sure you've got money on some credit card to use

We shall have a look see after Uni once I've got a job . It's the IVA that bothers me more than anything as thats a very vast potential money pit.
