everything is from scratch mate. The headlining, subs and the centre console. Can't be having the same as everyone else now can I. It's good fun just messing round with ideas.

got the centre console finished to a point. needs a bit of extra stuff to finish it off but that can be done down the line. Windows are now all in but didn't get any pics of the headlining finished so will do that tomorrow. Next thing is to finish lower dash parts. But it's so nice weather I'm going out for the day on the bike. here's some pics

a few pics and an update for ya. Got the mini to pitstop at brize for a tune. Didn't need to go on the rollers but the guys there did a wicked job as usual and it feels like a new car. Running great ready for the rivrun on the weekend. Got most of the interiour done now. Been a mission with all the cutting and trimming and the odd swearing but got there in the end. Take a looksee at the pics and let me know what ya think. The boot and rear seat bulkhead front and back has been sound deadenafied then I did a boot build from scratch. The floor is removable to get the spare wheel out and get at the battery. The drivers side panel has a hinge on it so it can open and on the back is my jack on a bracket I made up to keep it up out the way.

Looking very tidy indeed sir. Where is that jack stored? I can't quite decide what it's screwed on to.

cheers jonesy it was manic. Had one nasty pint made for me and that got me good. still stayed up drinking till 4am but am feeling it now. The jack is behind the left hand panel. The hinge is hidden behind a little flap of carpet in the last pic.

cheers mate. was gonna do some kinda tool kit holder there but this works out good and tools are in my spare wheel. I've ran the car for a few years without a spare so hope I'm not cursing myself by finally having one with me.

I think you'll be fine.

I ran Elliot for a year with no spare and I got 2 flats! The first was slow enough for me to fill it with air and drive home before it went down and the second was only around the corner from my house. I've been pretty lucky haha.

Also, the speakers up front, are they 6.5 inch? I ask because I have some 6.5's to mount up front but I want them out of the way. Do you ever catch your knee or anything on them where they are? Thanks chap .

sorry for the late reply but just got back from the riv run. Good times. yeah they are 6.5's and they are fine. My seats are set back so that helps but i get good sound off them and the don't get touched as I'm getting in and out of the car. The stereo did well when camping. Plenty of loud music at silly o'clock at night ;D
