well as the weather is now nasty and the roads are horrid I thought it was time to get the mini in the garage and stay there till it get's nice again. Will give me time to get a few things done. So went out and found a golf 1.8 GTI that I've always wanted. Got it for 100 notes
without tax or test and had a dead battery. Lucky the battery was on warranty so got that changed for free. Put it through a test and was well supprised that it passed first time. So insurance and tax and it's home. Well happy. The only thing is I'm getting stung with tax. 6 months is more than the car is worth. Never mind. The only real prob with the car is that the alarm is going off at random times. So if anyone is good with old alarms and can help please have a look in ice and security for my post and help shead some light on how to kill the dam alarm.
Hey buddy me loves i hope you going to keep this one too i want it too i like Golf's didnt realise it was a gti from your emails you sent me

But the one problem i have is that the battery was dead from sitting too long. So took it out for a drive yesterday before the weather got too bad. Was blatting along a nice country road when in the middle of the road is a dam branch

well I saved my battery. It did charge up and has held so am happy. Did some interiour stuff this weekend. Got on with the headlining. Had some blue alcantara off ebay a while back for the dash so got another roll for the roof. Put the old one on it only to find it's just a bit too dam short. Gutted. So had to improvise. Between my lady and myself we came up with the idea of adding some extra material we just happened to have around the house. So a couple of hours of cutting and sewing we went from this

Got out today and did some work. Missed not getting on with stuff being away. Got the headlining in and clamped so it can do it's stretch thing before i glue it. I'm dam happy with it so far. Super happy it actualy fits. Will try glueing it on tomorrow.

and have got on with the centre console to hold the headunit so I can hear what the subs sound like. Gonna get some blue alcantara on that too.
