when my mini was on the road a few months back i was driving down the road and the clutch pedal developed alot of play.
iv been told the pin has snapped on the master cylinder, does anyone know where i might find one of these pins and how difficult they are to fit?

Pin? which pin?
I mean the cluch master is two bits of metal, a spring and some rubber. Unless you mean the gudgeon pin.
Get RIGHT under the pedal box, move the fresh air vent and you'll see an indent in the bulkhead where the pedals go. Each pedal has a pin and a split pin to stop the gudgon pin falling out.
If you want to try and remove some of the play (gudgeon wear down over time you see) then replace the pin.
It's a fiddly, cramped, horrible job to do. But when your done it's done. Pins cost about £2 from mini spars. So try local 1st.

as above PITA job,
fiddley as theres no room, and you have your head wedged up against the pedals to see....
but while your at it get 2 pins and do the brake pin too, you won't want that one snapping.
