Mine is affectionately called "The Beast"


Calling it a girls name and spending alot of time with it (as you do) just seemed a little on the odd side.

I thought it was a girly thing to name your car, but you guys have proved me wrong on that one!

As I havent got mine yet and driven it about I havent got to know it so I cant name it yet, I wasnt even planning on it to be honest but I suppose I should really. Does it have to be a girl? I know ships and things are always reffered to as "Her" or "She", is that the same for cars then? All the cars I have come across have usually been a her (shes a beaut etc etc) but could it be a bloke?!

My mighty mini is called Flakey, you'd understand why if ya saw the paint job on the rear arches!!
Bit of a unisex name but its refered to as a she, the idea being if ur a man u call ur mini a she, and if ur a woman you call him a he. At least thats what I thought! But be cautious lads, because some girlfriends dont like you having another woman about the house!

My mini is called either bert or steve (i think) i cant really remember, but i dont call it either, tis just refered to as 'the mini'

My blue one is the big Mini, my red (ish) one is the little Mini... The blue one has 12" wheels and newer, comfier, bigger modern seats, and the little one has 10" wheels and 1982-era smaller seats! Logical, really - although I do get some stares when I refer to the little Mini as opposed to the big one!

my names are pretty easy to be honest, kinda came with the cars!
my cooper has the number plate DEV so has always been known to everyone straight away as "the little devil"
..... so when i got my new one last week, i was on the phone to myinsurance co, when.... suddenly notice my new no plate FKR!!! so mine are....

..... "little devil" (DEV)... and "little Fuc*er" (FKR) !!!

Hi guys, Mine is called Minty, because of the colour and because she is just so dam cool! Its so much easier to shout at it when things go wrong if it has a name! However my dad thinks its called AAARRRRRGGGG B****R! LOL
