Gotta have tunes and a little I.C.E. for shows.

If the question is why not in the doors. Well its tough because of the way the side cross bars run. They are real close to the door. The next best thing is under the dash as pods IMO.

Maybe some of my UK friends can help me???????

Im looking for a set of these speaker pods. http://www.grpstyling.co.uk/ I have tried to contact the vendor about 10 times and nothing Im starting to think they may be out of business or just dont want to deal with overseas shipping. Non-the-less does anyone know where I can get these?????

All help appreciated thanks. Maybe Les knows?

Sorry Lyle, I've never dealt with them before. I noticed a while back there was a group buy thing on here for those "evil eyes" they do for the headlights. Hopefully someone will come along with a bit more info.

Les.

For the most part its been pretty uneventful. Very uneventful in fact.

One problem we had is that the Zcars rear subframe is not fully compatible with the KAD center lock kit. The Zcars rear hubs are not like the standard mini hubs thus the fitment is different. We had to custom fab a different mounting plate.

Another was the radiator. The radiator Zcars uses is IMO *rubbish*. We had a shipping problem and my radiator came to me like it had been in a washing machine bouncing around for several hours it was unusable so I had to have a custom one made.

With anything there are things that have to be fabricated on a car like this. There has been MANY of those. Things on a daily basis come up, "we need to make that". I would say about 95% of them dont really have to be done to a normal car but with this one its special so to be unique you have to fab.

I bought GRP bumpers for the car for easier fabricating of the fender but after it was here I really didnt like the way they looked. The rear wing didnt fit etc... so we ended up doing it all. Thats all I can think of for now.

This does look and no doubt will be amazing when done, I really do admire the fact that you seem to have really planned how you want your dream mini and then have everything made to order

Any idiot can build or have built for them a show mini built with off the shelf bodykits etc Or indeed just have Zcars build them a full on bike engined car and indeed they could win many trophies and have great satisfaction and this I can't fault the owners for, but to me even though you admit you aren't doing the bodykit etc yourself your still spending the time thinking of how it all should be and not just browsing through a pretty catalogue

Good luck finnishing it and like everyone else I eagerly await the next lot of pictures

Wayne
